About Team Jarem
Welcome to Team Jarem, a community of friends and family dedicated to battling cancer as we honor the legacy of our dear friend, Jarem Hallows. As teammates at Team Jarem, we try to #BeLikeJarem by choosing not to shrink at the challenges we face in life.

Team Jarem began in 2017 as friends and family rallied around Jarem to show our support as he battled head and neck cancer. Members of the Epic Cycling Team became early partners with Team Jarem during that first year. We tried to inspire Jarem by doing something hard in his name by riding or running in the Huntsman Sports Festival while raising money to fight cancer at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. We discovered that although we aimed to inspire Jarem, as was typical of Jarem, we received more inspiration back from him! We "drafted" behind his insight, dedication, and faith to the finish line!

After the well-fought battle, Jarem passed away last November, leaving his legacy of faith and courage. Before he passed, Jarem announced that he had beaten cancer--not by surviving, but by never shrinking. Jarem kept an honest and inspiring blog throughout his battle at https://positiveforcancer.com/.

Jarem asked that we continue the battle against cancer through Team Jarem. Last year, Team Jarem was able to present researchers for head and neck cancer at the Huntsman Cancer Institute with its largest gift of support ever! This year, we hope to #BeLikeJarem and continue this pattern of service by trying to raise $30,000 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

We hope you'll join us by riding, running, or donating as we continue the battle to eradicate cancer from the earth!
